Birch tree painting
April 12, 11:00 am to 2:30 pm at the Gallery.
Scott will walk you through step by step to paint a scene featuring our gorgeous birch trees.

Paint your puppyworkshop
April 26, 11:00 am to 3:30 pm
For this class you will need to submit images of your puppy 1 week prior to class so we can scan the outline details to the media. Every one gets to paint their own puppy. So drop us a note with some puppy pictures and lets make this happen.

Ocean pier sunrise painting class
Lets paint something warm, an ocean sunrise.
in this class we will first focus on that gorgeous blended back ground, clouds, light, then move to the detail in the middle. class from 11:00 to 2:30 pm

Mountain meets ocean tryptic
Painting a tryptic. I created this 72” piece for our Church’s coffee shop. In this class we will recreate a smaller (1/2 scale )framed version for your wall. Each section is 12” wide
This will painting involves lots of blending, but a limited color palette. It is a surprising simple piece. So book a seat and we will walk you through each step. the image outlines are pre sketched on the panels, so this class is all about brush techniques, and blending. soooo fun. We will create a finished piece ready to hang, so bring your coffee mug, this is going to take a while. Class will run from 11:00 am to 3:30, so bring snacks for the teacher.

this class will explore reflections, water surface detail and lighting. the panel will have the images sketched and ready for us to explore the fun part of painting ..
Paint your fuel tank workshop

This workshop starts with premade and drawn plywood cover sheets primed with outdoor paint, ready to finish. the panels are sized to cover the end of a standard fuel tank and fit around the fuel valve. The panels are attached by magnets. Each work shop will walk you through the process for painting the pre drawn design. the first one is a fireweed design in a stain glass style. These are 8 hour workshops and will be held outdoors.
Thrift store art paint up workshop
June 21 from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm
Mission one is to go shopping at your favorite thrift store and pick up some old, slightly over used, damaged, outdated, under loved art. Then bring it with you for the class and we will have fun adding in critters, cars, sky scrapers, dragons, bigfoot, sparkles, and any number of other fun twists. We will provide some templates, art supplies, and a little bit of artistic guidance to make this a fun project.
Custom paint party
PAINT PARTY!!!! You can design your own paint party. This covers the supplies and instruction for you and 5 of your besties.
(secret hint: you can also use this as a punch card to take 6 classes yourself at our gallery.. to save a few bucks)
Contact us to set up a time, and pick your favorite project. We will do the rest. The price quoted is for a class at our Willow Gallery, so we provide the space and clean up the mess. Custom classes from 4 to 10 participants are available.
We can offer remote classes in the Valley, and Anchorage, if you have the space available. We bring tables, chairs, easels and all the art supplies. There is a travel charge, so contact us about this for a custom proposal. Scott
